There is nothing more authentic than who we are or the choices we make when our hearts are full—when we know with utter certainty that we have enough and that we are enough. In the warmth of love, all doubts, fears, and insecurities melt away and the path forward becomes clear.
At the end of September, I competed in an Olympic triathlon at the Force Triathlon in Hualien. This was the first triathlon I’ve competed in since my Ironman in 2017. When I registered for this race back in February, I had hoped that it would be my triumphant return to triathlons
In practice, not being a startup means that I need to create the software equivalent of legos. Most people seem to understand this analogy as creating reusable bricks that I can snap together in order to de-duplicate my work.
Or, at least, I’m not a startup anymore. This is a startling realization for me, particularly given my deep Silicon Valley background, but is critical to how I think about my time.
